Pastor John & Mary Mbochi
Pastor John Mbochi and Mary consider it a blessing to serve the Lord alongside a wonderful church family here at First Love Church. Having moved to the United States from Kenya in late ’90s to attend Bible college, they have since settled in the North county area of St Louis Missouri. God used Pastor John alongside others to found a teaching Ministry ‘Immanuel Worship Center’ in Hazelwood in 2007, which later changed name to ‘First Love Church’ They are blessed with 3 children, Eric, Alyssa and Joy.
Jonathan & Felicia Walls
Minister Jonathan L. Walls was born in Frankfurt, Germany and grew up in Junction City, Kansas. Minister Felicia Golden-Walls spent her childhood living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Eldorado, Arkansas , but moved to Junction City, Kansas where she and Jonathan met and married. Their union made them the proud parents of four children. Perris Coleman-Walls, Gregory Golden, Hannah Walls, and Samuel Walls (Deceased 2006).
Jonathan and Felicia are disciples of Jesus Christ, and the founders of Be 4 Real Ministries. They have a combined 40 years of service while serving several ministries in various states. These ministries include young adult ministry, prayer ministry, choir, worship leader, trustee, singles ministry and as minister of music. They received their license to preach in 1996 at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Junction City, Kansas. So far, they have served 27 years in the preaching and teaching ministry.
Their life scriptures are, Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord, with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path” and Romans 8:28, “ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”.
